    I read Wuthering Heights because another book. The introduction this novel is rare tragedy. It was not accepted by the populace when it was born. It was gradually regarded as the great work many years later.

    It is the 18^th century in Britain . Heathcliff was an orphan who was rescued in fair. He is behavioral deviation because of the growth environment. He can not get together with Catherine Earnshaw for love and retaliated to two families.

    I do not talk too much about story. I want to talk about my theory. Even though this novel is a tragedy, we still see the hope in end. Therefore can not say completely it is the tragedy. Actually it also has Taiwan TV show’s shadow. The revenge and plans is present screenwriter unusual hobby theme.

    We should blame Catherine. Heathcliff twist his human good intentions and retaliated all because her. She is a pretty、willful and arrogant woman who make Heathcliff loves and hates.

    Catherine knew what herself love is Heathcliff，but she still marry rich Edgar Linton just for renown. She live in Linton’s house but her heart with Heathcliff when she see Heathcliff again. That is so ridiculous. No matter were before or presents’s moral standards look at Catherine，she was the woman who played with love.

    Heathcliff is an orphan that did not know family background. He was adopted by Catherine’s father. Catherine and her brother, Hindley do not like Heathcliff. Heathcliff has black eyes and black hair instead the common English’s white skin and gold hair. So was recognized that for is Gypsy’s child.

    Hindley deeply despises Heathcliff. When his father died, he abused Heathcliff more and more. Heathcliff waits for a long time very patiently. Finally took away whole Earnshaw’s property. In my opinion, Hindley is deserved.

    In fact, Heathcliff want to revenge Catherine but he loves her so much and can not do it. So he get even with Catherine’s husband, Edgar‧Linton.

Edgar’s sister, Isabella is a poor girl and she was been involved this hate.

    Catherine should be punished. Because every hate all about her. If she was loyal to her love, Heathcliff will not become so abnormal. Earnshaw and Linton two families will not become so miserable.

    I had read some British’s writings in early phases. Initially, I do not understand why those people easy fall in love with just to know for     soon person, especially woman. Suddenly all questions have been settled after I read Wuthering Heights .

    The 18^th、19^th century’s society was not open up very much. No matter which country always has some moral standards regard women. Women do not have status unless they are rich.

    Did not have network、mobile phone these 3C products at that time. You want to say something, only can depend with correspondence. The letter come and back possible to take for one month. When you go out, only have horse vehicle. Subway、MRT never heard. The women want to leave home is not easy, therefore their certainly fall in love with man who first meet. They usually marry him or her,just he or she do not ugly or tacky. The women almost live for marry and raise child at that time.

    And people’s life is not too long at that time, even writer Emily Bronte only lived thirty years old. Why？ They usually marry to their cousin. Some gene’s flaw pass to next generation, so they can live longer. Just like Catherine’s daughter like her cousin and marry to him. The British and Chine have similarity that women marry very early at that time. The teenager can marry. They are absolutely in jail by present law. Their life’s experience was advanced by early because they marry very young. If the husband or the wife is not good enough than imagined, died is one kind of good extrication. Also did not have too many entertainment, they always waste life. The servant watch lady daydream that spend an afternoon. Sometimes do it is not bad in the busy present day. In that age is every day do that. They died very young possibly was too bored.

    I pretty like the Heathcliff’s love manner. He is loving Catherine form beginning to end although knew Catherine has abandoned him. But he still loves her. Even Catherine dead, he tried to find ways to bury together with her. When Heathcliff dieing, he feels Catherine come back to him. He can not see her but can feel her spirit. I think this  miss excessively. When I read that part, I love dearly Heathcliff. Every one says he is a devil. Why do not think about how do they treat this orphan？ Who want to not been love？ He suffered many humiliations just because blood relationship unclear.

    I am so glad, I can grow this age. I do not have experience inconveniently and do not fall in love with first man of visit our family. I do not inherit money or big house form my ancestors. But I can go everywhere I want to go, say any word I want to say, do everything I want to do. This is happiness to me.
